Mr Mahmoud Sinani has put an incredible amount of his time and an enormous effort in developing and implementing our latest project 

MVC has recently renamed itself as MTWARA YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM - MYDP

MYDP is an established NGO which has successfully carried out a great number of projects over the years in cooperation with other NGOs as follows:

                     

•            Assisting HIV victims         

•            We have sent 21 orphans to Sabodo Secondary school through “Mtwara marathon 2012”

•  -        We have hosted an International fight night at Makonde club

•  -        We have given books and sporting materials to several primary school in Mtwara

•  -        We have organized and assisted Black Mamba boxing club to become a well-known club in Tanzania


Our Objectives now are:

       

•  -       To promote sports

•  -       To create educational opportunities for orphans through fund raising

•  -        To create employment

•  -        To recognize and improve talents

The sport of Boxing 

A Tanzanian boxer represented his country at the Olympics London 2012

The sport of boxing is a second most popular sport in Tanzania and it is the only sport which represented Tanzania in the previous Olympic Games in London.  If this sport is taken seriously Tanzania will be proud as a Nation in a sporting world as it is evident that Tanzanians are naturally good in this sport through previous boxing records in Africa and in the world. 

Boxing does not require much financial resources as other sports do as is an individual sport, It is time now that Tanzania has Boxing to represent herself in an International arena.

Black Mamba has proven to be a great success in recognizing and improving talents of the Youth, we currently have 25 boxers, 8 licensed boxers and 1 champion 60kg lightweight TPB (Tanzania Professional Boxing)  belt . We are for the 3^rd time organizing and event which will take place in Mtwara Nangwanda stadium on Saturday, 10^th of August 2013.
